Short version: We never sell your data. We show no ads and use no advertising or tracking SDKs. Aura needs no account. What she logs is shared only with the people she chooses to connect, and her private notes are never shown to anyone else. Part of the coaching text in Alpha is written by AI. The daily coaching runs on our own server first. Alpha's weekly plan, and the daily coaching whenever our own server can't handle it, send a short summary to an outside AI provider (see section 5). Alpha and Aura are wellness tools, not medical devices.
The apps are published by PATNA (Close Corporation), registration number 1995/050641/23, publisher address 5 Goldsmith Str, North End, Port Elizabeth, 6001, South Africa ("we", "us"). alpha_aid, lasting 1 year) holds a random device ID that isn't linked to your account or your logs. With it we record which app was opened, the platform (for example Android or iPhone), install and open events, and your approximate country, region and city. That location is worked out on our server from your IP address at the time of the request, and we don't store the IP address itself.When she connects Aura to someone's Alpha, that Alpha receives: her cycle dates, moods, food notes, her "Just between us" choice for the day (for example a hug, a date or some space; that note is meant for him), messages, and the name she picks (or no name). Her moods and "Just between us" choices also drive a better-day/harder-day Timing gauge and the tone of his coaching. Her private notes are never shared. Aura's "What he sees" screen shows what his app receives. She can disconnect anyone at any time. When she does, her logs are removed from that person's profile on our server.
We don't sell, rent or trade personal data, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. We use these providers only to run the service:

AI providers get only what is listed above. Aura's private notes and messages are never put into AI prompts. Aura's own screens don't use AI, but if she is connected, her moods and daily choices can be part of the summary used to write his coaching text. Some providers are in the United States, and data sent to them is protected by their standard contractual terms.
Cycle, mood and intimacy-related data is sensitive health data. We process it only to provide the features you use, with your consent, which you give by logging it. You can withdraw that consent by deleting it (section 8). Alpha and Aura are not medical devices. They do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and they are not contraception. Cycle predictions are estimates. For health questions, talk to a healthcare professional.
We keep your data while you use the apps. When you delete, it is deleted: immediately, completely, with nothing kept in "deactivated" form and no deletion log with your name, email or link.
Aura: "Erase everything I've logged" permanently deletes your cycle dates, moods, food notes, "Just between us" answers and private notes, both from your page and from every connected partner's profile. Your page, name, birthday, connections and messages stay.
Aura: "Delete everything, including my page" permanently deletes all of the above plus your page itself: your private-link code, the name and birthday you gave, your own profile and food preferences, messages, food ideas, reminders, connections, invites, partner labels, notification subscription, referral record, and the coaching that was generated from your entries. Your link stops working immediately. A connected partner's app simply shows that it is no longer paired.
Alpha: "Delete Profile" (bottom of Home) permanently deletes that profile from your phone and from our server straight away: its details, logs, check-ins, events, messages and generated coaching. If her Aura page was connected to that profile, it is unlinked first, so her page and her own entries stay with her and keep working.
Alpha "Unlink" removes her entries from your profile. Her Aura page is not deleted; it keeps working for her, unpaired.
Alpha account deletion (only relevant if you signed in with an email or surname): email htgtbj@gmail.com or use https://alphahack.pro/legal/delete-account. We erase the account and all its profiles completely and confirm within 30 days.
Backups: our server keeps rolling backups for disaster recovery. Deleted data can remain in them until they roll off, which happens within 14 days. Backups are not used to run the apps and are not publicly accessible.
The public Aura demo (/her/demo) gives each visitor a private, temporary sandbox. Anything typed there is visible only to that visitor and is deleted automatically within 24 hours.
You can also ask us to erase data about you that someone else entered. Write to htgtbj@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or South Africa's POPIA), you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Aura has "Download everything I've logged" for a copy of your data. For anything else, email htgtbj@gmail.com. You can also complain to your data-protection authority. For South Africa, that is the Information Regulator (South Africa) (https://inforegulator.org.za/). If you live in the EU/UK, you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
The apps are for adults, 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also show a notice in the apps.
